Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling
How deposits and fees work when an attribution engagement changes, pauses, or cannot go ahead.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for Source Canvas Grid professional engagements described on this site — mapping, measurement checks, reviews, readouts, and window advice. There are no physical goods and no software subscriptions to refund.
Deposit
A thirty percent deposit holds your start date. If you cancel more than ten working days before the agreed start, the deposit is returned in full. Inside ten working days, the deposit is retained as a scheduling fee unless we can fill the slot with another engagement of similar length, in which case we return half.
Full refund
If we cancel because we cannot staff the engagement, you receive a full refund of amounts paid. If we have not yet begun intake and you cancel under the ten-working-day rule above, paid amounts above the retained deposit are returned.
Partial refund
If work has started — intake held, materials reviewed, or a draft inventory begun — fees for completed stages are kept. Unused stages are refunded proportionally against the scoped letter. Already-delivered written maps or letters are not refundable.
Non-refundable items
Completed readout sessions, delivered documents, and third-party costs you asked us to book (for example a meeting room outside our usual desk) are non-refundable once incurred.
Work already started
Once intake is complete, stopping the engagement leaves the inventory and notes with you in their then-current state. You are not owed a polished map if the balance for that stage was not paid, but you keep what was already delivered in writing.
Rescheduling
You may move a start date once without charge if you give five working days’ notice. Later moves, or a second move, may require a new deposit if the calendar cannot absorb the change. Launch dates that slip on your side do not automatically extend our hold without a conversation.
No-shows
If a booked readout session is missed without twenty-four hours’ notice, that session fee is kept. We will offer one replacement slot within fourteen days when calendars allow.
Process and timing
Write to info@sourcecanvasgrid.digital with the engagement name, dates, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen working days of approval. Bank transfer refunds use the account that paid us.
Exceptions
If illness or a force majeure event prevents either side from continuing, we will propose a move first. If a move is impossible, unused fees after completed stages are returned. Statutory rights under Malaysian law that cannot be waived remain available.
