Launch attribution mapping
A written map of every path a first user can take into a new app, which of those paths you can actually measure, and where installs are falling into “unknown.”
Who it is for
Founders, growth leads, and in-house marketers preparing a first public release, or already inside the first ninety days.
What you leave with
You leave with a source map you can hand to a media buyer, a store listing writer, or a founder without translation.
Included
- Intake conversation covering markets, stores, and planned spend
- Inventory of paid, organic, referral, influencer, and owned mention paths
- Check of first-open capture, campaign names, and store referrers
- First-window reading if the app is already live
- Live readout and a written source map
Left out
- Buying or managing advertising
- Building a product dashboard for your team to log into
- Ongoing weekly reporting unless scoped separately
How the work runs
From briefing to a document you can hand around the room
Briefing
We sit with the people who actually know how the launch is being talked about — often the founder, the person placing ads, and whoever wrote the store listing. WhatsApp forwards, group chats, and creator posts get named here, not later as an afterthought.
Source inventory
Each path is listed in the language you already use. Paid search, store search, a creator’s story, a stall at a campus booth, and a staff install all sit on the same page so nothing is treated as “just noise.”
Measurement check
We look at whether those paths can be told apart at first open. Missing Play Install Referrer parameters, a thirty-day window on a three-day burst, and English-only campaign names for a Malay listing are typical finds.
First-window reading
If you have already launched, we read the opening days against the inventory. Credit that piled onto one paid campaign while store search and referrals went unlabelled is the usual pattern.
Readout
A working session in Johor Bahru or over a call, plus the written map. The map names what to fix before the next spend, not a catalogue of software features.
Place, preparation, limits
Where. In person at our Johor Bahru rooms, or remote across Malaysia.
Bring. Bring the store listings, the campaign name list, any creator briefs, and a plain account of how friends and staff were asked to install.
Limits. One app per engagement. Extra stores or a second brand listing are scoped as a separate map.
Price basis
Quoted against channel count, iOS and Android mix, and whether the launch has already started. Starting figure RM 8,400 for a single app with up to three paid channels.
Figures on the rates page are starting points. A scoped letter follows the first conversation.
Next. Write to us with the launch date and the channels you already plan to use.
